For 27 years Roberta, a Nashville native, lives in the Suwanee, Georgia near John's Creek. Her love of sketching animals at an early age along with the encouragement of her artistic family and cousin, Warneta, perpetuated her successful art career. She has studied under many nationally known artists and traveled extensively.
Roberta's watercolors have evolved from her many travels abroad and locally. The Abacos, the Bahamas, Virgin Islands, France, St. Marteen, the British Virgin Islands, St. Simon's, Fripp Island, Jeckyll Island, are just a few of the islands represented in her work. Roberta has participated for 25 years in prominent juried shows across the southeast and sold many original paintings and lithographed prints worldwide. She is a gifted art teacher, who enjoys sharing her incredible knowledge and skill with all ages. "I hope that you enjoy the journey" know the animal's personality, and that you can "capture the spirit in my paintings" that will suspend you in timeless ecstasy and tranqulity. |
